Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Bin Zhai has served as CNFinance’s Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2017 and Chief Executive Officer since 2010. Mr. Zhai joined CNFinance in 2006 as executive director of Shenzhen Nanfeng Mortgage Advisory Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Fanhua Inc. Prior to joining, Mr. Zhai served as account manager of Bank of Communications Tianjin Branch from 1991 to 1993, investment manager at China Ministry of Agriculture Shenzhen Office from 1993 to 1998, and general manager at Shenzhen Modern Warehouse Building Material Co., Ltd. from 1998 to 2006. Mr. Zhai received his bachelor’s degree in insurance from Nankai University in China.
Director and Vice president
Jun Qian has served as CNFinance’s Vice President since 2010. Mr. Qian joined CNFinance as general manager in Guangzhou Anyu Mortgage Advisory Co., Ltd. in 2002. He served as sales manager at Nanjing Textile Import & Export Corporation from 1995 to 1997, vice president at Nanjing Jiashan Textile Co., Ltd. from 1997 to 1999 and import and export commissioner at Guangzhou Longyuan Thermal Equipment Co., Ltd from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Qian has over 15 years of experience in management positions. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, formerly known as Guilin University of Electronic Industry, in China.
Independent Director
Fengyong Gao has served as an Independent Director since the IPO. From April 1992 to April 1996, Mr. Gao worked as a staff member at the Tianjin Branch of China Investment Bank. From April 1996 to October 2002, Mr. Gao served as a project manager in the Investment Banking Department and the general manager of a business department of China Southern Securities Co., Ltd. From October 2002 to May 2003, Mr. Gao was a project manager in the Investment Banking Department of Hongta Securities Co., Ltd. From May 2003 to April 2007, Mr. Gao served as a project manager, general manager of the Trust Department, assistant to the president, and vice president of Bright Trust Co., Ltd. Since July 2007, Mr. Gao has served as a director and general manager, and then as a director of Shanghai Leading Capital Management Co., Ltd. Since October 2012, Mr. Gao has been the chairman and general manager of Shanghai Luanhai Investment Management Co., Ltd. From January 2014 to January 2019, Mr. Gao served as the general manager of Shenzhen Leading Capital Management Co., Ltd. Since January 2016, Mr. Gao has been serving as a director of the company. Since December 2019, Mr. Gao has been an independent director of Nanjing Xinjiekou Department Store Co., Ltd. Since January 2022, Mr. Gao has been serving as a supervisor of Wuhan Gangdi Technology Co., Ltd. Currently, Mr. Gao serves as an independent director of China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. and Great Wall Movie and Television Co., Ltd. Mr. Gao received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in finance from Nankai University in China.

Lin Xu has served as an Independent Director since the IPO. Currently, Mr. Xu is the Chairman of China-U.S. Green Fund Management Co., Ltd., concurrently serving as the Executive President and Secretary of the Party Committee of the All-China M&A Association, Independent Director of Industrial Bank, Independent Director of National Pension Insurance Company, External Supervisor of the Board of Supervisors of Bank of Beijing, and Director of Hunan Farsoon High-Tech Co., Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Xu also served as Deputy Director General of the Development Planning Department of the State Planning Commission, Director General of the Fiscal and Financial Affairs Department of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Director General of the Development Planning Department of NDRC, and Director General of the China Center for Urban Development of NDRC. Mr. Xu also held independent directorship roles at Zhejiang Crystal-Optech Co., Ltd. and Beijing GeoEnviron Engineering & Technology Inc., and served as Chairman of China-U.S. Green Investment Management Co., Ltd. Mr. Xu has been an Independent Director of Sinopec since June 2024.Mr. Xu received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hunan Shaoyang Normal College, his first master’s degree in economics from Nankai University and his second master’s degree of public administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at National University of Singapore.
Independent Director
Xi Wang has served as an Independent Director since March 2019. Dr. Wang currently serves as a professor at Lingnan (University) College, and a director of China Institute for Economic Transformation and Opening at Sun Yat-sen University ("SYSU"). Dr. Wang specializes in economics and has focused his research on banking and monetary policy, international finance (exchange rates and balance of payments), and China's economy among other subjects. Dr. Wang has been a professor at SYSU since 2004. Dr. Wang has served as a contributor for multiple business journals including the Economic Research Journal, China Economic Quarterly, Finance Research, and Journal of World Economy. Dr. Wang received his master's degree in economics as well as Ph.D in economics from SYSU.
Independent Director
Ge Yang has served as an Independent Director since November 2022. Mr.Yang has over 30 years of experiences in corporate finance, non-bank financial institution, and wealth and asset management. He has worked with public companies listed in Shanghai, New York, and Hong Kong. Mr. Yang has work experiences both in China and overseas including Europe and the U.S. Mr. Yang holds a bachelor’s degree from Nankai University, majoring in International Finance. He also holds an MBA degree from Tsinghua University, and an M.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University.
